Business travel in Morocco: a chauffeur checklist

A working trip fails on logistics, not on ambition. Three or four meetings across a city, a flight at either end, and suddenly the day is built around finding transport. Here is what is worth arranging in advance.

Before you fly

  • Book the arrival transfer with your flight number, not just a time. A delayed flight should move the car, not cancel it.
  • Give the full address of your first appointment, not the hotel, if you are going straight there.
  • Decide whether you need the car between meetings or only point to point. It changes what to book.

Hourly, not per trip

For a day of meetings, keeping the same car and chauffeur on standby is almost always the better arrangement. You stop re-booking between appointments, you leave your things in the car, and a meeting that runs long stops being a transport problem. It is also how you avoid standing on a street with a laptop bag.

One point of contact

For teams and hosted clients we work on a corporate account with a single contact and consolidated billing, rather than each traveller arranging their own car. That matters most when you are moving other people — a client you are hosting should never be the one working out how to get somewhere.

Small things that decide the day

  • Meet & greet in arrivals with a name sign, so an arriving guest has nothing to solve.
  • 60 minutes of free wait time on airport transfers, which covers a slow passport queue.
  • A vehicle class matched to the party: a sedan for two or three, a van once there are four or more with luggage.
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, because plans move.
