Mohammed V (CMN) is not a city airport. It sits 31 km south of central Casablanca, and road routing puts the drive at about 32 min with clear roads. That last qualifier is the whole point of this page.
Plan for the traffic, not the distance
The figure above is a free-flow estimate: it assumes nothing slows you down. Casablanca's approach roads do slow you down, particularly on weekday mornings heading into the city and late afternoons heading out. If you have a meeting or a connecting flight, add a real margin rather than trusting a routing estimate.
This is also why a metered ride can feel unpredictable on this route: the same journey can vary a lot depending on when you land.
How the arrival actually works
Your chauffeur tracks the flight, so a delay moves the pickup rather than costing you the car. Meet & greet is included: they wait in arrivals with a name sign and take the bags. Airport transfers include 60 minutes of free wait time, which covers the usual passport and baggage queues without a conversation about it.
What to have ready when you book
- Your flight number — this is what makes flight tracking possible.
- The exact drop-off address, not just the district. A hotel name is fine; a neighbourhood is not.
- Passenger and luggage count, so the right class of vehicle is sent.
- A phone number reachable on landing, ideally on WhatsApp.
One thing we deliberately do not publish: your terminal. Check it on your airline's confirmation on the day, because it can change and a stale number on a website is worse than no number.
Going somewhere other than Casablanca?
Plenty of arrivals at CMN are not staying in the city. Marrakech, for instance, is 242 km further on — see the full distance table in our guide to getting around Morocco without renting a car.
